Requirements
Must:
- Several years of professional server application development experience
- Mastery of C# and architectural understanding of coding patterns and methodologies
- Experience with database solutions such as DynamoDB, Redis, and AWS RDS
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog, Kibana, or PagerDuty
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Codebuild, or Spinnaker
- Strong problem-solving skills in an Agile environment
- Exceptional communication skills to convey complex server architecture insights
- Commitment to technical quality and troubleshooting skills
- Passion for game development and staying updated with C# .NET and server security
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain high-performance backends for our upcoming AAA mobile title
- Collaborate with peers to establish studio-wide standards and processes
- Contribute architectural vision for efficient server systems
- Work closely with Designers, Artists, and Developers to integrate game technologies
- Take ownership of planning and developing features and systems
- Create thorough technical designs that invite peer validation
- Profile and optimize code, identifying performance bottlenecks and security risks
- Mentor junior team members and promote coding best practices
- Estimate tasks accurately and mitigate risks proactively
- Ensure sprint goals are met and maintain low technical debt
