Requirements
Must:
- University degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Good knowledge in hardware, servers, wifi routers, 4G, etc.
- Minimum 5 years experience in the technology field
- Proven ability to manage 1stβ3rd line tickets and support while maintaining and improving SLA performance
- Proven ability to manage user access, device compliance, and system security across cloud environments
- Proven ability in ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials (highly desirable)
- Strong leadership skills, capable of mentoring and allocating work to technical staff
- Quality & compliance mindset to ensure outputs meet standards and regulations
- Strong communication skills
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset
- Go-getter attitude, ownership of tasks, urgency, and ability to prioritize
- Full UK driving license for potential travel to clients premises
Responsibilities
- Lead a small team of technical support engineers
- Implement and test firmware for Ambarella-based cameras
- Collaborate with external partners on hardware and software troubleshooting and improvements
- Resolve technical issues raised by customers promptly and effectively
- Schedule remote support calls with customers and partners using tools like Microsoft Teams and Google Meets
- Perform hands-on hardware repairs using lab equipment
- Oversee and automate the delivery of scheduled technical reports and data analytics for key accounts
- Assist the Sales team and provide camera demonstrations to potential customers
- Coordinate with the Sales team to plan product delivery and ensure timely dispatch of cameras
- Work independently with enthusiasm, mentoring and managing junior staff as needed
- Contribute to new features development when required
