Requirements
Must:
- Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
- Experience in planning and preparing play-based learning activities
- Ability to effectively support younger children in all areas of learning
- Skills in teaching early phonics and leading small groups
- Experience working as a SNED LSA (Special Needs Educational Needs Learning Support Assistant)
Responsibilities
- Join a large staff team within the schools Nursery
- Take on Key-worker responsibility
- Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and prepare learning activities
- Teach early phonics and lead small group sessions
- Conduct whole class carpet sessions
- Support as a SNED LSA in the afternoons
Description
We are a lovely primary school located in Abbey Wood, Greenwich, seeking a Level 3 qualified Early Years Educator to join our team for the remainder of the academic year. This role is full-time during school term-time (8.30am – 4.00pm) and offers a supportive team environment. We are part of a trust of schools across the borough, located close to mainland rail stations with local bus links and parking. Our school emphasizes collaboration among teachers and a strong connection with the local community, focusing on closing the gap for disadvantaged pupils while providing a broad range of extracurricular opportunities.
