Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree required with extensive experience; Masters preferred with experience in a quantitative discipline
- Proven experience of commercial/business analytics or marketing/strategy consulting preferred
- Track record of thought partnership with senior commercial leadership to advance organizational priorities and goals
- Budget management and resource allocation experience
- Extensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry in country, including relevant data sources required to understand and generate insights about the market
- Expertise across GCA services including data analytics, primary and secondary market research, data reporting & visualization, data processing, use of AI/ML and commercial analytic tools; specific experience in Dataiku/DSS and Tableau are preferred
- Proven ability to influence senior leadership with the capacity to quickly understand business strategies and establish relationships of trust and credibility
- Expert at leading across the matrix and influencing with and without authority
- Innovative and agile mindset
- Demonstrated analytics & insights expertise
- Demonstrated ability to drive change
- Fluency in English
- Limited business travel required
Responsibilities
- Proactively engage and partner with business colleagues to identify and prioritize challenges requiring analytic solutions that will drive informed decision-making
- Lead strategic performance measurement discussions with UKMF and regional LT in partnership with Finance
- Lead the UK Country and Subnational performance management framework, ensuring full KPI integration, data quality, and monthly performance tracking in line with IDM governance
- Drive the analytics & measurement transformation required with evolving go-to-market model, managing the complex implementation of new capabilities and solutions
- Enable clear line of sight of the market and competitive landscape of the pharmaceutical industry in country
- Engage in the development of solutions to complex business issues, as needed, even if solutions are outside of IIS remit
- Set a vision for and lead the IIS team to ensure robust and consistent analytics & insights delivery
- Foster an environment and culture characterized by exceptional performance, impactful work, customer focus, analytic innovation, insight integration, and best practice sharing
- Lead a highly engaged and motivated team
- Proactively identify and encourage career opportunities that will build capabilities and support the professional development goals of team members
- Accountable for the delivery of analytics & insights across the catalogue of GCA solutions and capabilities
- Ensure proactive and strongly collaborative working relationships with relevant cross functional partners to adapt global and regional strategies to the country as relevant
- Lead the definition and consistent application of business metrics, striving for continuous improvement and innovation in analytic approaches across all business units and brands
- Actively seek opportunities to work with Biopharma Operations and other CMO functions as well as Digital to identify solutions and services that build on analytic insights
- Negotiate budget, service levels and operating plan with regional leadership
- Be an active member of the IIS IDM Leadership Team, advancing Pfizers analytic strategy to deliver competitive advantage
- Participate in succession planning and talent development activities across IIS IDM & International
