Must:
To thrive in this role, you will need extensive experience with SAP applications, specifically more than 4 years of hands-on experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA. You should have hands-on development experience with SAP best practices and standards, along with expertise in various components and capabilities of SAP Cloud applications like SAP Ariba, SuccessFactors, and Service Cloud. Additionally, strong experience in leveraging standard SAP content to build solutions for interfaces between SAP applications is essential. You must also possess expertise in designing solutions in SAP, including communication channels, adapters, message transformation, routings, and groovy scripts. Familiarity with SAP message logging capabilities, typical error handling, and monitoring mechanisms is necessary, as well as the ability to design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to facilitate SAP projects (RAML, REST, SOAP). Experience in working within a DevOps environment and understanding related processes and controls is also required.
Responsibilities
As a SAP Technical Lead, you will support the data and integration strategy while working closely with various stakeholders from different projects. In a DevOps model, you will be responsible for delivering new apps and integrations within the SAP Integration Suite and ensuring operational resilience and platform stability. You will also be tasked with the success of SAP implementations, focusing on technical quality, governance, and the operationalization of solutions. Your duties will include creating high-level designs for SAP solutions, collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate requirements into implementations, and leading the development, testing, and support teams. You will perform peer checks on colleagues' deliverables and ensure that all outcomes adhere to best practices and quality standards. Additionally, you will advise technical teams about operational concerns, manage production incidents, document solutions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Your role will involve engaging with internal stakeholders, mentoring colleagues, participating in team DevOps ceremonies, and scoping project activities.

This position offers a salary between £65,000 and £83,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with 26 days of annual leave (increasing to 30 with length of service), a car allowance, annual bonus, private medical healthcare, and a generous pension scheme through AON.
