As a Data Governance Analyst, I am looking for candidates who possess a strong understanding of data governance principles and practices. Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives is essential, as well as familiarity with tools like Azure Purview. Proficiency in data management tools and technologies, strong analytical skills, and experience in agile iterative project management methods are also required. Additionally, I value candidates with experience in big data cloud approaches.
Responsibilities
In this role, I expect you to assist in developing and articulating our organisation's data governance vision, strategy, and roadmap. You will support the activation and enforcement of the data governance program vision while collaborating with various stakeholders, including IT teams, business units, and data owners. Ensuring that master data is accurately represented, consistently defined, and easily accessible across the organisation will be part of your responsibilities. You will provide training and guidance to employees on data governance principles, policies, and procedures, as well as assist in establishing mechanisms for governance oversight, including regular reviews and audits. Ensuring compliance with data-related regulations and managing data-related risks are crucial aspects of this position. Furthermore, you will support the Data Governance Manager in leading and facilitating council meetings, driving decision-making processes, and ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
Description
I offer a competitive salary between £47,000 and £71,000 per annum, depending on your experience. You'll enjoy 26 days of holiday per year, increasing to 30 with length of service, alongside bank holidays.
