Requirements
Must:
To thrive in this role, we are looking for candidates who possess the following essential criteria:
- A degree in a numerical field such as Accountancy, Business Degree, Mathematics, or an equivalent qualification.
- Extensive experience in a similar role within a previous organization.
- Proficiency with Power BI.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask efficiently.
- A good understanding of commercial business processes along with relevant functional experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Visual Basic for creating macros.
Responsibilities
As a Commercial Business Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:
- Obtaining, cleansing, and analyzing large data files to provide insights on historical spending and identify opportunities for cost and operational efficiency.
- Presenting your findings in stakeholder meetings.
- Developing commercial models and pricing templates or bid sheets for sourcing initiatives, either by modifying existing templates or creating new models.
- Providing commercial analysis of final costs versus budgets and evidencing additional business value enabled by sourcing recommendations.
- Engaging with stakeholders to gather information and define the scope of analysis.
- Supporting internal and external meetings to explain data analysis as required.
- Assisting the Analytics team in promoting and embedding our technology by running training sessions for the Commercial team and the wider business.
