Service Enablement Analyst - Reading

In this role, I want you to participate in the end-to-end service transition lifecycle, ensuring a seamless handover to operations. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) to validate that new or changed services meet business and customer needs. Collaborating with test and design teams, you will ensure that test scenarios align with operational requirements and real-life service conditions. I expect you to identify and document gaps in readiness, raise risks and issues, and ensure timely resolution before go-live. Engaging with business stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and obtaining formal sign-off on successful BAT completion will also be part of your duties. During the Hypercare phase, you will monitor live deployments and migrations, using real-time data to spot issues and facilitate resolution. Investigating incidents and coordinating with service providers, DCC teams, and industry stakeholders will be necessary. You will lead root cause analyses and ensure learnings are captured for continuous improvement. It is crucial to escalate significant risks or service-impacting issues and, if necessary, halt migrations to protect live operations. Ensuring that knowledge capture, training, and documentation are complete before service go-live is also your responsibility. You will need to maintain effective communication with stakeholders, providing updates on status, risks, and progress, and influence service design to meet operational and customer needs early in the lifecycle.
