Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years working with frontend technologies including React
- Proficiency in JavaScript
- Experience with React Framework
- Knowledge of HTML & CSS
- Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD, version control)
- Understanding of Component-Based architecture
- Leadership experience in Agile environments
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in software engineering (Backend)
- Knowledge of networking (Subnets, Firewall, Load balancing, VPN configurations)
- Familiarity with security and identity management
- Experience in monitoring and logging
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation of new frontend products for our customers
- Collaborate with team members to enhance frontend capabilities
- Upskill and mentor other team members in frontend application development
- Utilize best practices to ensure high-quality code and optimal user experience
- Participate in Agile meetings and contribute to planning and reviews
Description
We are a leading engineering and manufacturing company in the banking and finance sector, seeking a Frontend Software Developer to join our team. This role is contract-based until 31 December, with the possibility of renewal, and offers a rate of £600 per day, inside IR35. Our offices are located in Essex, between Brentwood and Basildon, and we offer a flexible work environment with 4 days a week in the office.
