Requirements
Must:
- SQL server experience, including complex queries, stored procedures, and relational data modeling
- Exceptional communication skills and detail-oriented problem-solving focus
- Eligible to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with SQL datasets and BI reporting tools like Tableau
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Development experience using scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Comfortable working in legacy environments
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server solutions, including complex queries and data models
- Develop technical solutions using SQL, Python, and PowerShell
- Build and support system integrations using APIs and SFTP
- Prepare SQL-driven datasets and maintain BI dashboards
- Work with business teams to gather requirements and identify data flow improvements
- Contribute to business change initiatives through process mapping and analysis
- Challenge existing practices and promote scalable, modern solutions
- Follow best-practice development processes, including version control and testing
- Produce technical documentation and knowledge articles
