Must:
We’re looking for a candidate who possesses active Security Clearance (e.g., SC / DV) and has a proven background in Security Assurance, Information Assurance, or Cyber Risk Management. You should have a strong understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, MoD JSPs, and CAF. Excellent reporting and documentation skills are essential so that you can translate complex technical findings into actionable insights. Additionally, you should have knowledge of cloud, network, or application security principles, along with a proactive and detail-oriented approach that reflects a commitment to high standards of delivery.
Responsibilities
As a Security Assurance Engineer with us, you will conduct security assurance activities across various projects, products, and systems. You will support risk assessments, security reviews, and compliance checks in alignment with organizational and government standards, including NCSC, ISO 27001, and JSP440. Your role will involve producing clear, concise, and insightful security assurance reports for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, and risk management teams to ensure that robust security controls are embedded throughout the system lifecycle. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining documentation and evidence to support accreditation and audit processes.
