Requirements
Must:
- Strong SQL skills (essential)
- Proven experience in rolling out Metabase across an organisation
- Ability to act as a trainer/mentor, upskilling colleagues in BI tools
- Experience consolidating and migrating reports/dashboards from legacy systems
- Knowledge of Oracle databases (desirable)
- Familiarity with Python and Jupyter notebooks (beneficial)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to bridge technical solutions with business needs
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of platform success
Responsibilities
- Be a major player in the rollout and implementation of Metabase across the organisation
- Consolidate pre-existing reports and dashboards into Metabase, ensuring consistency and accuracy
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards, scheduled reports, and automated insights
- Act as the Metabase SME, advising on best practices, governance, and optimisation
- Upskill and mentor team members to use Metabase effectively, fostering a self-service analytics culture
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable dashboards and queries
- Collaborate with IT and data teams to integrate Metabase with existing systems and data sources
- Document processes, standards, and training materials for ongoing use
- Stay current with Metabase updates and BI trends, proactively recommending improvements

This hybrid role offers flexibility, with 2 days in our Grantham office and potential for full remote work after 12 months.
