Responsibilities
- We will strengthen our data platform to reliably support Microsoft Dynamics 365, operational reporting, and wider strategic analytics needs.
- We will build upon, enhance, and maintain data integrations between D365 F&O and our wider data platform in line with our established architecture and SQL standards.
- We will develop and maintain robust, scalable, and reliable data pipelines supporting operational and analytical workloads.
- We will improve the reliability, performance, and resilience of existing data pipelines, integrations, and supporting platform components.
- We will identify and reduce technical debt, platform fragility, and single-point dependencies that create operational risk.
- We will improve observability, monitoring, alerting, and error handling across critical data flows and systems.
- We will support ERP-related data migration, post-go-live integration, and ongoing operational data requirements as needed.
- We will produce and maintain clear technical documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge-sharing materials.
- We will contribute to the development and refinement of engineering standards, reusable patterns, and best practices across the team.
- We will work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure data solutions meet business and operational needs.
- We will support the resolution of complex or high-impact engineering issues, helping improve our overall support model and platform stability.
- We will mentor and support other Data Engineering team members, encouraging stronger ownership, technical judgement, and maintainable engineering practices.
- We will contribute to the longer-term evolution of our data platform, ensuring immediate delivery needs remain aligned with strategic architecture and scalability goals.
