Requirements
Must:
- Demonstrable experience with C#, .NET, .NET Core, and .NET Framework
- Strong understanding of cyber and information security principles
- Experience in securing web applications and APIs
- Knowledge of vulnerability management and threat assessment
- Proven ability to configure CI/CD tooling and implement security best practices
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence at all levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to proactively resolve technical problems
- Capability to pass security clearance in the UK
- Experience with Git and debugging/systems analysis
Responsibilities
- Act as a security partner to developers to ensure security is integrated from the start
- Provide practical guidance on secure design and code quality
- Support teams in delivering secure software in a bespoke Microsoft-focused environment
- Collaborate with engineering teams and cyber security specialists
- Strengthen DevSecOps practices across Parliament
- Influence architecture and support testing activities for security
- Promote secure coding approaches within development teams
- Identify, assess, and mitigate security vulnerabilities in applications and infrastructure
- Implement and manage automation tools for security processes
