Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience across multiple areas of IT, from hands-on support to infrastructure oversight
- Strong working knowledge of cloud platforms and cost management
- Familiarity with Cyber Essentials or similar security standards
- Experience supporting or managing ERP systems
- Ability to translate technical detail into clear, straightforward language
- Curiosity about AI and emerging tech, with confidence in applying it in a commercial setting
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the IT function within the business
- Act as the go-to for all IT matters, delivering 1st-3rd line support
- Install, monitor and maintain IT equipment with full lifecycle ownership
- Maintain Cyber Essentials accreditation and ensure devices are secure
- Manage incidents from start to resolution
- Keep business continuity and disaster recovery plans current and tested
- Manage and optimise cloud environments focusing on security, performance, and cost control
- Drive workflow automation and explore AI tools to enhance productivity
- Support ERP platforms and work closely with third-party providers
- Oversee user onboarding and offboarding, system access, hardware setup, and account management
- Source equipment and services, negotiate with suppliers, and identify efficiencies
- Provide clear, practical training and guidance to users on systems and tools
