Requirements
Must:
- Experience in a technical consultant or IT operations role in automation
- Knowledge of automation runbook tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef or similar
- Ability to create workflow designs demonstrating process mapping, problem solving and decision modelling
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, Groovy, and Bash
- Experience with orchestration languages such as YAML
- Familiarity with REST APIs, web services, and integrating automation with third-party tools
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools
- Desirable Qualifications: ITIL V3/4 foundation
- Familiarity with ITSM tools for Catalogue Migration role
- Proficiency in any scripting languages for Catalogue Migration role
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a small, established team to support the OTSM Migration Project
- Engage closely with clients and external vendors to foster strong professional relationships
- Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project life cycle
- Develop workflow designs to improve automation processes
- Implement and maintain automation runbook tools and infrastructure-as-code solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to automation and integration
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices throughout the projects execution
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Description
We are currently recruiting for multiple experienced Technical Consultants for a 6-9 month contract with opportunities in either London or Cheltenham. We offer a supportive environment that fosters team collaboration and professional growth, with access to training and certification opportunities. You will be part of a friendly and diverse team working on a significant migration project. Our work environment is 100% on-site, and enhanced DV clearance is mandatory for these roles.
