Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in IT support or a related field
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, devices, and applications
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical users
- Familiarity with helpdesk procedures and asset management
- Experience in conducting user training sessions is a plus
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, ITIL) are advantageous
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Responsibilities
- Assist with 1st and 2nd line support when required, ensuring urgent issues are addressed quickly
- Provide on-site and remote support to users, resolving technical issues
- Identify and resolve recurring IT issues by implementing long-term solutions
- Escalate complex or unresolved challenges to senior department members or vendors
- Maintain service levels by addressing issues according to helpdesk procedures
- Communicate regularly with users throughout the issue resolution process
- Conduct proactive reviews and check equipment across all school locations
- Provide training sessions to help users become self-sufficient in IT issues
- Maintain the asset inventory, ensuring IT equipment is tracked and logged
Description

We offer a competitive salary range of £32,000 - £37,000, with a standard work week of 37.5 hours from Monday to Friday.
