Requirements
Must:
- Previous experience working in an IT Service Desk environment or a request fulfillment team would be advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Professional telephone manner.
- Proven organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize own workload and manage expectations.
Responsibilities
- I am responsible for fulfilling the end-to-end delivery of incidents.
- I ensure all incidents are captured, detailed, and triaged accurately.
- I work with the Service Levels assigned to each categorization of incident to ensure resolution within SLA.
- I identify and route incidents to appropriate 2nd line support teams and external suppliers to ensure timely resolution.
- I deliver onsite support services 24/7.
- I define, implement, and continually review the IT Incident processes to ensure they fit the needs of the businesses we support.
- I liaise with suppliers/support teams when IT Incidents cannot be resolved at the 1st point of contact to ensure lean processes and effective information exchange.
- I work alongside the Request Analysts to maintain hardware stock in line with Service Request forecasting.
- I set up hardware and software to meet colleague requirements through the fulfillment of Service Requests.
- I collaborate closely with End User Computing to ensure that deployed products are strategically aligned and that licenses are released/reused whenever possible.
Description
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract position located at our Stafford Distribution Centre. The role involves analyzing and resolving IT issues for colleagues at the Stafford Fulfillment Centre. It combines various aspects of IT support, such as providing 1st line advice and guidance for technical issues, delivering hardware, software, and account provisioning requests, and offering onsite IT support across both the operation and Support Office. The position operates via a shift rota over days and nights, with an additional shift premium in addition to the base salary.
