Requirements
Must:
- I am looking for someone with a full understanding of C#, ASP.NET, and SQL, with at least 5+ years of experience in a commercial role.
- You should have strong problem-solving, debugging, and testing skills, as well as the ability to support in-house legacy desktop systems.
- Familiarity with designing and consuming APIs using Entity Framework Core is essential.
- Experience with ASP.NET Core MVC and Entity Framework is required.
- Proficiency in version control systems, such as DevOps or GitLab, is expected.
- I would like to see documentation of technical processes, decisions, and system change requests.
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment are crucial.
- Lastly, a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
Responsibilities
- You will be building and maintaining in-house applications in C#.NET.
- The role involves working on both front-end and back-end functionality and interactivity.
- You will collaborate with other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Contributing to R&D projects to drive new innovations will be a part of your job.
- I encourage you to mentor junior developers when possible.
- Assisting in troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading existing systems will also be your responsibility.
- You will contribute to code reviews and must follow best practices in software development.
- It’s important for you to keep up to date with emerging technologies and bring fresh ideas to the team.
- Lastly, you will design, develop, and maintain web/desktop applications.
