We are looking for an Automation Software Engineer with a strong background in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) and controls. You should be proficient in PLC programming, specifically with Siemens TIA Portal & Step 7 and Allen Bradley ControlLogix. Experience with HMI systems (TIA / WinCC Flexible) is essential. You must possess strong troubleshooting skills for PLC, HMI, SCADA, and PC-based systems. Excellent customer-facing communication skills are a must, along with an HNC/D and at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide remote technical support for legacy control systems used by our global engineering and manufacturing customers. Your primary responsibilities will include diagnosing electrical, controls, and software issues, troubleshooting PLC/HMI/SCADA systems, and providing upgrade advice and technical quotations. You will play a key role in improving customer experience and system reliability, all while adhering to ISO 9001 standards.

Description
We offer a competitive salary ranging from £52,000 to £59,500, along with 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays. Additional benefits include a 5% employer pension, income protection, death in service, and optional private healthcare. This position is office-based, with hybrid work options considered.
