Requirements
Must:
- Understanding of enterprise networking and computing
- Knowledge of Python 3 programming language
- Security experience
- Knowledge of SPLUNK
- SIEM knowledge
- Defence experience is desirable
Responsibilities
- Identify processes that can be automated to enhance the effectiveness of the Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Deliver the Technical Operations function by supporting team members in protecting against cyber threats.
- Lead the identification, creation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of SOAR playbooks, automations, and enrichments.
- Apply critical thinking to solve unique information security problems.
- Enhance processes for interacting with large datasets to develop actionable information aimed at detecting suspicious activity within the business.
Description
We are looking for a Tech Operations Analyst to join our team for a 12-month remote contract. This role may require occasional on-site attendance in Preston and involves 37 hours of work per week.
