Requirements
Must:
We seek a Senior Systems Engineer with strong experience in system and software application design and architecture principles. You should be proficient with modeling techniques and tools (such as UML, Enterprise Architect, XML/XSD) and skilled in requirements analysis and management tools (e.g., IBM Rational DOORS). A working knowledge of software development languages such as C#, .NET, or Java is required. Experience with configuration and version control tools (such as Rational ClearCase and Git) is essential. Familiarity with database technologies (Oracle, SQL) is preferred, along with an understanding of ETL and middleware technologies (Pentaho, IBM MQ, RabbitMQ).
Responsibilities
In this role, you will collaborate with end users and technical teams to define functional and non-functional requirements. You'll develop proof-of-concept solutions for new system functions and document and manage system and subsystem design artifacts. Defining and managing interfaces between integrated systems is key, as is overseeing design implementation in collaboration with development and database teams. You will develop clear and robust test requirements to ensure accurate functional testing, contribute to Life Cycle Management (LCM) reviews, and assist with product safety strategies. Additionally, you will support obsolescence management through technical analysis and estimation, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to Engineers.
