Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who have a good knowledge and understanding of project management policies, processes, procedures, and systems. You should have demonstrated project management experience in a professional capacity within a project. A solid understanding of your project and familiarity with one or more project management tools, techniques, and practices are essential. Additionally, you should possess knowledge of the business environment relevant to your project and have familiarity with PM governance and assurance processes such as Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs). Experience working with stakeholders inside our company is also required.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to deliver defined work packages and tasks in alignment with cost, schedule, and quality targets. You will monitor and report on project and programme performance concerning scheduled, technical, financial, and quality objectives. Leading problem-solving sessions to proactively overcome project issues is key. You will also establish and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers, ensuring regular communication and managing expectations. Taking ownership of customer satisfaction will be a crucial aspect of your responsibilities.
Description
This position is located in Barrow-in-Furness, offering a hybrid working model with two days a week on-site. The contract is for 12 months, with the possibility of extension. The role involves working 37 hours per week.
