Requirements
Must:
- Active SC Clearance (essential)
- Proven experience as a Data Architect in secure or defense-related environments
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern data technologies; familiarity with IBM Maximo is a plus
- Experience with data governance, modeling, and integration across enterprise systems
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures
- Develop data models, standards, and governance frameworks
- Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to align data strategy with business needs
- Ensure data solutions comply with regulatory and security standards
- Support the development of data pipelines, warehouses, and analytics platforms
Description
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with active SC Clearance to join a high-impact programme within a government or defense environment. This role offers flexible working and the opportunity to shape enterprise-level data architecture across complex systems. The position is based in Portsmouth Navy, Davenport, Solihull or Hampshire, primarily working from home with 1-2 visits to the office each month. The initial duration of this contract is 3-6 months, with a competitive rate of up to £700/day (Inside IR35).
