Requirements
Must:
- Strong commercial experience with PHP and a modern framework (Laravel)
- Frontend experience using React to build user-friendly interfaces
- Solid understanding of relational databases (MySQL) and performance considerations
- Comfortable working in Linux-based environments
- Familiarity with software design principles and best practices (Cloud exposure, particularly AWS, is advantageous but not essential)
Responsibilities
- Building and enhancing web applications across the full stack
- Contributing to a new greenfield project alongside an established platform
- Writing clean, well-structured code with testing baked in
- Taking part in code reviews and collaborative design discussions
- Working within a structured workflow using tickets and pull requests
Description
We are a long-established UK organization with a strong SME customer base that is continuing to invest in its internal and customer-facing technology. We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our small, in-house development team. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work onsite in Manchester for 3 days a week, with a competitive salary ranging from £60,000 to £75,000, depending on experience.
