Requirements
Must:
- 7 years commercial software development experience
- Minimum 3 years working within fast-paced, fail-fast delivery environments
- At least 2 years in a leadership position
- Strong expertise in modern .NET and API design
- Proven Angular experience (v15)
- Hands-on Azure architecture and deployment experience
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (Bicep preferred)
- Experience integrating Azure Entra ID authentication
- Strong understanding of CI/CD and enterprise DevOps practices
- Security-first mindset with knowledge of OWASP Top 10
- Experience building high-performance, enterprise-grade systems
Responsibilities
- Writing secure, production-grade, well-tested code across backend, frontend, and mobile
- Taking architectural ownership of APIs, mobile offline patterns, and Azure infrastructure
- Designing and building RESTful services using modern .NET and clean architecture principles
- Leading Infrastructure as Code implementation using Bicep
- Driving CI/CD maturity (Bitbucket preferred) with strict SDK and dependency version control
- Ensuring OWASP-aligned secure coding practices and GDPR compliance
- Collaborating with QA to support automated and manual test strategies
- Documenting architectural decisions (ADRs) and maintaining clear technical communication
Description
We are working with an innovative organization that is building a new platform and is looking for a Lead Developer to take technical ownership from day one. This remote role offers a salary between £70,000-£80,000 depending on experience. Youll lead engineering on the first product within a wider cloud transformation strategy, utilizing a modern tech stack including .NET MAUI, Angular, and Azure services. We offer a high-autonomy role within a senior engineering environment, providing an excellent opportunity to define technical standards from the ground up and shape future cloud-based products.
