Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in data center operations
- Strong understanding of asset management and lifecycle processes
- Familiarity with governance and compliance standards in lab environments
- Knowledge of hardware management platforms (Lenovo xClarity, Dell OEM tools, HPE Compute Ops Management)
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams including PMO, finance, and external suppliers
Responsibilities
- Maintain complete and accurate records of all hardware and software assets across test lab environments
- Oversee the full asset lifecycle, including allocation, reuse, and secure decommissioning
- Ensure all lab usage is linked to approved funding, projects, or Clarity demands
- Manage governance of environment and console access, ensuring permissions are approved, monitored, and removed when no longer required
- Act as the primary point of coordination between lab teams, delivery programmes, PMO, finance, and vendors
- Provide operational oversight and reporting to support audit, risk, and compliance requirements
- Apply and operate within established enterprise governance and control frameworks
- Maintain strong working knowledge of supplier hardware management platforms
Description
We are looking for a Lab Environment & Asset Lead to take ownership of the governance and operational control of our clients lab environments. This critical role ensures lab assets, access, and usage are tightly managed and aligned with approved funding and enterprise control standards. Youll work closely with various teams to enable stable environments that support programme delivery while maintaining strong operational discipline. The role is remote, offering flexibility and a competitive daily rate.
