Requirements
Must:
- Experience with Trading systems
- Proficient in Azure, ideally with SAP
- Valid UK Right To Work until December 2029
- Knowledge of the end-to-end Trading Business from deal inception through to settlement
- Significant experience in software and architecture delivery
- Expertise in technical architecture, design, and standards for software products in Commodities Trading
- Experience with TOGAF (or similar framework) and Enterprise Architecture tooling
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in trading environments
- Proficient in programming languages (Node.js, .Net, .Net Core, Python, etc.) and front-end technologies (React, Micro frontend)
- Familiarity with Data Development technologies (SQL, NoSQL, Cloud Datastores)
- Hands-on experience with Azure platform, including migrations of legacy systems
- Experience in designing and building containers, Microservices, and Cloud Native applications
- Knowledge of Data Management and diverse data types
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, fostering collaboration and driving consensus on technical concepts
- Shape and transform the architectural role by identifying opportunities and driving innovation
- Serve as the primary contact for architectural aspects of IT projects
- Integrate various dimensions into cohesive IT solutions
- Document solution architectures using standard templates and ensure compliance with architectural standards
- Guide designers and analysts during the design phase
- Review and approve detailed solution designs
- Support Lead Architect in Architecture Review Board sessions
- Contribute to documentation and maintenance of Reference Models in BizzDesign or equivalent
- Elevate project deliverables to conceptual and logical architecture levels
- Monitor emerging IT technologies for future-ready solutions
- Stay informed of company IT standards and incorporate them into designs
- Champion architectural excellence and engage with stakeholders to address architectural concerns
