Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in the nuclear industry or UK regulatory environment.
- Strong project/service management capability with process improvement experience.
- Experience in project governance, risk management, or delivery in regulated environments.
- Ability to interpret and apply contractual IP terms with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
- Confident decision-making under ambiguity; proactive and structured approach.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Desirable: Experience managing compliance portfolios in complex engineering projects.
- Desirable: Familiarity with IP systems and PLM tools (e.g., Teamcenter).
- Desirable: Understanding of IP and ONR regulatory frameworks.
- Desirable: Project Management training or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for IP-related matters across engineering, legal, IT, and supply chain.
- Define and maintain IP strategy by creating and maintaining governance frameworks for licensed technical data.
- Ensure IPLA processes are documented and followed for operational control.
- Be the first point of contact for IP queries and escalate complex issues as necessary.
- Ensure contractual compliance by making sure frameworks support delivery while meeting obligations.
- Work with Legal, Supply Chain, IT, and Engineering to resolve challenges through cross-functional coordination.
- Represent IP in audits and governance forums for governance and reporting purposes.
- Improve IP tools, workflows, and service design for continuous improvement.
- Enable secure, traceable exchange of licensed data between SZC and HPC for knowledge transfer.

We are looking for a dedicated IPLA Manager for the Sizewell C (SZC) project, which leverages design and engineering data developed for Hinkley Point C (HPC). This role is essential for managing licensed technical data effectively and responsibly, supporting our project delivery and compliance efforts. We provide comprehensive training for IP-specific requirements.
