Requirements
Must:
- Experience of delivering or providing IT user support to business customers, ideally in a larger corporate/national organisation.
- Experience of deploying and supporting desktop and laptop equipment.
- Experience in the Oil and Gas context is desirable.
- SQA Higher qualification or equivalent.
- ITILv4 Foundation certification is desirable.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with customers, IS colleagues, and service providers.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Well-organised with effective prioritisation skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and assistance to users within the company.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues in the End User Compute (EUC) environment.
- Action requests from users related to IT software and hardware, following company processes and policies.
- Educate users on efficient use of provided software and IT hardware resources.
- Collaborate with other IS Operations Teams to ensure a smoothly running EUC environment.
- Use company service management software to handle requests and incidents.
- Respond to incidents and requests according to agreed SLAs.
- Maintain good records and keep information up to date.
- Conduct New Starter Induction Sessions.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support if required.

This role operates on a 3/2 hybrid basis, and candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance.
