Requirements
Must:
- Strong SQL Server skills (T-SQL, SSMS), ideally with SQL Server 2017 experience.
- Solid understanding of water industry concepts such as Distribution Input, consumption components, and leakage methodology.
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting processes (e.g., annual performance submissions).
- Ability to translate spreadsheet logic into reliable, scalable SQL solutions.
- Comfortable working with varied data quality across multiple systems.
- Python — useful but not critical.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain SQL-based pipelines to replace existing Excel-driven water balance processes.
- Extract, cleanse, and reconcile data from multiple SQL Server environments with differing structures and quality.
- Support weekly operational reporting cycles and contribute to annual regulatory submissions.
- Investigate anomalies, validate inputs, and ensure accurate, auditable data outputs.
- Document data flows, transformation logic, and methodologies for audit and governance purposes.
