Requirements
Must:
- Previous experience in customizing or developing enterprise Asset Management software
- Experience with HP Asset Manager or similar IT asset management platforms
- Proficient in Visual Basic scripting for automation and workflow customization
- Strong SQL capability for queries, reporting, and data optimization
- Skilled in tailoring AM data models, screens, workflows, and business logic
- Familiar with REST or ETL integrations involving Asset Manager and external systems
- Understanding of asset lifecycles, approvals, compliance, and governance in AM environments
- Ability to deliver stable, upgrade-safe HP Asset Manager customizations aligned with best practices
Responsibilities
- Customize and develop asset management applications to meet client needs
- Modify data models, workflows, and system logic in the ITAM environment
- Enhance software functionality using SQL and Visual Basic
- Ensure reliable solutions within complex ITAM setups
- Collaborate with teams to implement new features and integrations
- Maintain compliance and governance standards within asset management processes
- Provide solutions that are stable and upgrade-safe
Description
We are recruiting for an ITAM Technical Consultant/Asset Management Application Developer to join our team on a contract basis. This role offers a 6 to 9 month contract that is determined as Outside IR35, requiring 3 days of onsite work in Bracknell initially, with potential for full remote work later. We are seeking someone with a strong background in enterprise Asset Management software and a passion for delivering tailored solutions.
