Requirements
Must:
We are looking for individuals with experience in ICT user support within a Service Desk environment or those holding a relevant degree, as we provide training. You should have a strong understanding of Microsoft 365 administration and knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems. Experience with Active Directory/Entra ID is essential, along with an awareness of cybersecurity best practices. Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills are a must. Desirable qualifications include experience with Microsoft Intune, familiarity with Microsoft Exchange administration, ICT-related certifications (such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator), and knowledge of Apple devices and telephony systems. Understanding of ITIL principles and Service Desk processes is an added advantage.
Responsibilities
As a Technical Support Officer, you will be the first point of contact for ICT issues, providing vital first-line support for Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, and managing user accounts. Your key responsibilities will involve providing Tier 1 Service Desk support by logging and resolving incidents and service requests. You will administer and support Microsoft 365 applications, manage user accounts and permissions via Active Directory/Entra ID, and configure and deploy Windows 10/11 devices, including Intune-enrolled endpoints. Additionally, you will maintain ICT asset records, ensure accurate inventory management, support the rollout of desktop applications and approved software, assist with telephony systems (including Microsoft Teams Voice), and contribute to ICT improvement projects and knowledge base documentation. You will escalate issues to senior ICT colleagues when necessary.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from £27,423 to £34,944 per annum for this fixed-term contract position, lasting 12 months. The role is hybrid, requiring three days a week in our office located in Kings Lynn Town Centre.
