Requirements
Must:
We seek candidates with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and proven expertise in designing and managing Azure infrastructure solutions. You should possess strong knowledge in Azure networking, security, identity, and cost management, as well as experience in scripting and automation, particularly with PowerShell, CLI, and Python. Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and migrations from on-premise to cloud is essential. Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform, is a plus. Strong communication skills are necessary to document and present complex technical concepts clearly. Microsoft certifications, such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert, are highly desirable, and ITIL Foundation or other relevant industry certifications would be beneficial.
Responsibilities
As a Group IT Azure Engineer, you will design, implement, and support Azure-based infrastructure and services across a global environment. You will take ownership of cloud operations, ensuring performance, scalability, and security. Collaborating with Engineering, Security, Application, and Service Delivery teams, you will deliver seamless and integrated cloud solutions. Acting as a technical lead on Azure projects, you will oversee everything from infrastructure deployment to automation and optimization. You will implement and maintain robust security and compliance controls, develop documentation for consistency and knowledge sharing, support the organization's broader cloud strategy, and contribute innovative technical insights for long-term planning. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
