Infrastructure Engineer

- I will expect you to provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support for all aspects of the core infrastructure and related technologies. - Implement and support infrastructure projects that align with our business objectives and the global or regional IT roadmap. - Offer technical knowledge regarding IT Infrastructure, providing advice and guidance to members of the IT department, service users, and other stakeholders as appropriate. - Work both independently and collaboratively within the internal team to carry out business-as-usual tasks and project work as required. - Ensure minimal disruption to our operational and educational functions. - Utilize ServiceNow to maintain accurate information on the work undertaken in response to technical support issues. - Adhere to Change Control and CAB approvals before any authorized changes are executed. - Liaise effectively with third-party suppliers and support providers to ensure solutions are delivered within expected service levels. - Continuously acquire knowledge of relevant emerging developments within cloud, network, and server technologies, as well as general developments and standards set within the organization to ensure continual improvement of our information technology systems.
