Requirements
Must:
- Clean driving license and access to a van from Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.
- Manual handling training.
- Experience working in retail environments or with EPOS equipment is preferred but not required.
- Must have a medium-sized van (e.g., Transporter or Transit).
- Strong work ethic with a calm, friendly attitude, especially in busy or high-pressure environments.
- Ability to manage multiple callouts per day and communicate estimated times of arrival clearly.
- Comfortable working across a variety of retail settings (e.g., high street, petrol stations).
- Flexible to adapt to changing priorities or emergency callouts.
- Good attention to detail for accurate logging of job information, serial numbers, and parts used.
- Physically capable of carrying a toolkit, crouching/kneeling, and working in tight spaces.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Own mobile device with internet access (access to our platform will be provided for call updates).
Responsibilities
- Attend customer sites to install or swap out retail IT equipment.
- Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a professional appearance.
- Manage parts and stock from your company vehicle.
- Complete all tasks to a high standard using our mobile job management system.
- Support project rollouts and periodic training at HQ.
Description
We are a leading provider of IT services and EPOS solutions to some of the UK's biggest retail and hospitality brands. We have recently secured a new IT upgrade contract that will last for the next 4 to 12 weeks on a contract basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems in a field service role. Previous EPOS experience is not necessary, as we value your ability to adapt and learn quickly. The position offers a competitive daily rate of £130 to £140 (depending on experience) and mileage allowance, with training provided. The start date for this role is the 4th of August, 2025.
