Requirements
Must:
We are looking for someone who has at least 5 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, Delivery Manager, or in a similar role within software or product development. You should possess strong technical knowledge and feel comfortable discussing system architecture, APIs, cloud services, and modern engineering practices. An advanced expertise in Jira is essential, including workflow configuration, dashboards, backlog grooming, and sprint management. You need to have a proven track record of successfully delivering digital projects from start to finish, as well as excellent client-facing and communication skills, with confidence in conducting workshops and providing status updates. A strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies is required. Additionally, while not essential, we would appreciate experience with Confluence, Trello, or other collaboration tools, a background in software engineering (Java, JavaScript, or similar) or technical consulting, familiarity with UX/UI workflows and product development lifecycles, and project management certification (Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, Prince2, etc.).
Responsibilities
As a Technical Project Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of high-impact digital projects, ensuring that the scope, timelines, and quality are effectively managed. You will act as the primary contact for our clients by running workshops, gathering requirements, and providing regular project updates. Supporting our engineering teams will be a key part of your role, as you will remove blockers, prioritize work, and help keep projects on track. You will configure Jira workflows, dashboards, and reports to ensure transparency and drive continuous improvement. Collaboration will be crucial, so you will work closely with designers, developers, and product specialists to align technical solutions with business needs, all while managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment and maintaining strong communication across all stakeholders.
Description
We offer a competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £60,000 and provide a hybrid and flexible working environment with 2 days in our Belfast office.
