Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognised university.
- 6+ years of experience in a technical software engineering role.
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals and software architecture and design skills.
- Hands-on experience with Java (ideally including Spring Boot).
- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS or other major cloud platforms).
- AWS certification (desirable).
- Familiarity with high-performance or time-sensitive technical environments (desirable).
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade systems and backend services.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making.
- Build tools, reports, and data feeds to fulfil requirements across operations and risk teams.
- Ensure systems are scalable, performant, cost-efficient, and operationally resilient.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders on implementation and maintenance of core systems.
- Participate in cross-functional technology efforts to support wider business and operational goals.
