Requirements
Must:
- Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- Deep understanding of testing methodologies and techniques
- Proven experience designing and delivering robust, scalable test frameworks
- Strong knowledge of Design Patterns, OO Design and refactoring principles
- Experience operating within Continuous Delivery environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Ability to influence senior engineering stakeholders
- Comfortable setting technical direction and standards
- Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership across test frameworks, automation and methodologies
- Design, build and evolve scalable automated test solutions
- Define and maintain strategic automation architecture standards
- Embed testability into design and development phases of the SDLC
- Collaborate with Architects and Engineering teams to improve quality and coverage
- Develop solutions across static and dynamic analysis, unit, component and integration testing, acceptance testing, and non-functional testing (performance, scalability, resilience)
- Monitor and analyse test results, define metrics and reporting standards
- Identify tooling and process improvements
- Champion best practice in design patterns, refactoring and OO design
