Requirements
Must:
- 3+ years in a technical, customer-facing role (Solutions Engineer, Integration Engineer, Implementation Engineer, or similar)
- Experience working with SaaS platforms and system integrations
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong experience working with APIs (REST; SOAP exposure beneficial)
- Comfortable with data formats such as JSON, XML, and CSV
- Experience with integration tools, automation platforms, or iPaaS solutions
- Basic scripting or development experience (C#, JavaScript, or Python)
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Comfortable collaborating with engineering teams and reading technical documentation
- Familiarity with Agile delivery environments
Responsibilities
- Lead customer-facing integration calls with technical stakeholders
- Run discovery workshops to understand customer systems, data structures, and workflows
- Translate business and technical requirements into maintainable integration solutions
- Design and implement integrations using APIs, automation frameworks, and internal tooling
- Configure, test, and validate integrations including data mapping and transformation
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a clear and timely manner
- Maintain and monitor existing integrations as customer requirements evolve
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Implementation teams
- Produce clear technical documentation and integration specifications
- Feed customer insights and recurring patterns back into Product and Engineering
- Continuously improve integration processes to increase scalability and quality
Description
We are a cloud-based SaaS platform operating at scale, supporting enterprise customers with complex supply chain and data integration requirements. We are expanding our Professional Services function and looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to support customer integrations across our platform. This role is based in Northern Ireland (Belfast or Derry) and sits at the intersection of customers, product, and engineering.
