Must:
We are looking for a candidate with at least 5 years of professional experience in Java development and a strong track record of delivering high-quality solutions. You should possess deep expertise in Java and the Spring Framework (Spring Boot preferred), along with extensive experience using AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway) and cloud-based architectures. Proven experience in building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices is essential. A strong background in financial services or capital markets is necessary, along with exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills. You should have strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, and proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent communication skills are a must for engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
As our Senior Java Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust and scalable software solutions using Java and the Spring Framework. You will architect and implement complex systems while ensuring scalability, security, and performance. Driving the development and integration of RESTful APIs and microservices will be a key part of your role. You will utilize AWS services to build and deploy cloud-based solutions while optimizing for cost and efficiency. Collaborating with senior stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions for the financial services and capital markets sectors is essential. Additionally, you will mentor and guide mid-level developers, define and enforce coding standards, and participate in and lead code reviews, testing strategies, and deployment pipelines. Staying ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends while championing innovation within the team will be expected.
