Requirements
Must:
- Extensive hands-on experience in an Infrastructure or Systems Engineering role within an enterprise environment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, hybrid cloud architecture, and cloud security best practices
- Deep expertise in Windows Server 2016-2022 administration, hardening, and troubleshooting
- Solid experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, and Certificate Services
- Proven experience with vulnerability management tooling and driving remediation programmes
- Experience managing MDM/endpoint management platforms
- Strong understanding of BCDR principles and enterprise backup and replication solutions
- Working knowledge of CIS benchmarks and ISO 27001
- Experience working within ITIL-aligned incident, problem, and change management processes
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently under pressure
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain server infrastructure across on-premises data centres and Azure cloud environments
- Design and manage scalable Azure solutions including IaaS workloads and hybrid connectivity
- Administer Windows Server services including Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, and Certificate Services
- Lead vulnerability management, ensuring systems are patched and remediated in line with policy
- Manage the MDM/endpoint management platform, ensuring consistent policy enforcement across all devices
- Maintain BCDR capabilities, ensuring critical systems have adequate backup and DR protection
- Proactively monitor infrastructure using enterprise tooling and drive continuous improvement
- Manage the virtualisation environment to meet capacity, performance, and availability targets
- Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota for critical incidents and emergency escalations
