Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on React.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SASS.
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and working within modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong appreciation for responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with performance profiling and debugging complex UI applications.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a problem-solving mindset.
- Nice to Have: Experience with SSR frameworks, knowledge of design systems and component libraries (e.g. Storybook), exposure to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Responsibilities
- Develop, optimise, and maintain high-quality front-end features using React, TypeScript, and modern web tooling.
- Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver elegant, user-focused solutions.
- Lead discussions on front-end architecture, performance optimisation, and best practices.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement across the team.
- Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and advocate for their practical adoption where valuable.
