Requirements
Must:
We are looking for someone who is proficient with a modern JVM language, such as Kotlin, Java, Scala, or Groovy. You should have proven experience in delivering scalable, production-grade applications within a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) or microservices environment. Comfort with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment workflows, as well as experience with cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure, is essential. Additionally, a strong understanding of system design, APIs, and distributed systems is required. You should possess a collaborative mindset and be comfortable working with remote teams across different time zones.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will design, build, and enhance core backend services that support our high-performance marketplace platform. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver robust and scalable solutions. We expect you to champion clean architecture, performance, and reliability throughout all stages of development and drive continuous improvement across our engineering practices, team processes, and overall product quality.
