Requirements
Must:
- Degree qualified in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent commercial experience
- Deep passion for software testing and delivering high-quality, scalable test solutions
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and techniques
- Proven experience designing and implementing robust framework solutions
- Strong knowledge of design patterns, refactoring, and object-oriented design principles
- Ability to influence technical direction and act as a thought leader in engineering best practice
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to bring clarity to complex challenges
- Comfortable working independently across diverse and ambiguous problem spaces

Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership across test frameworks, automation strategy, and testing methodologies
- Design, build and maintain scalable automated test solutions using modern tooling
- Analyse automation requirements, monitor results, produce meaningful test metrics and reporting
- Drive the culture of building in testability across the full software development lifecycle
- Partner with Development Architects, Product Architects, Engineering, and Release teams to increase test coverage while maintaining velocity
- Develop solutions covering unit, component, integration, acceptance, and non-functional testing
- Identify tooling and process improvements, establishing robust standards and championing best practice across engineering
