Requirements
Must:
- I have a strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Layer 2/3, OSI model).
- I possess experience with firewall configuration, VPNs, and Zero Trust principles.
- I have knowledge of telecom systems (VoIP, Avaya, voice/data networks).
- I am familiar with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Zabbix, Nagios, Meraki, etc.).
- I understand IDS/IPS, packet analysis, SSL/TLS inspection, and log correlation.
- I have experience with NAC, RADIUS/TACACS, PKI, and AD/LDAP integration.
- I demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- I hold relevant certifications (Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto, CompTIA Network), which are an advantage.
Responsibilities
- I will design and review network architecture aligned with organisational and regulatory requirements.
- I will install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and LAN/WAN/SD-WAN.
- I will perform troubleshooting, incident response, post-mortems, and capacity planning.
- I will oversee network security operations (NAC, NIDS/NIPS, segmentation, access control).
- I will monitor network performance to ensure 24/7 global reliability.
- I will maintain accurate documentation of configurations, topology, and incidents.
- I will manage vendor relationships and support the procurement of network equipment.
