Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience leading .NET engineering teams building production systems.
- Strong architecture skills across domain modeling, API design, and data design.
- A track record of improving code quality and delivery flow.
- Comfort operating in a product-led setup with fast iteration.
- Excellent communication skills with non-technical stakeholders.
- Passion for building software that solves real customer problems.
- Nice to have: experience in payments, order orchestration, or logistics domains; experience with food safety or allergen information systems; security and compliance awareness for regulated data; performance tuning and cost optimization in the cloud.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a small team of .NET engineers, setting standards and raising the bar.
- Design and deliver services for ordering, payments, delivery workflows, and analytics.
- Own technical decisions across solution design, reliability, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to turn real-world problems into simple software.
- Champion clean code practices, automated testing, and continuous delivery.
- Guide the evolution towards more modular and cloud-native architectures.
- Review code and coach engineers to help build their career paths and hiring plans.
- Work with stakeholders across retail partners and university collaborators.
