Requirements
Must:
- 3 years experience in QA or software engineering with a focus on automation
- Hands-on experience building automated test frameworks in Java, Python, or similar
- Understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and event-driven architectures
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud environments (AWS preferred)
- Exposure to financial systems, real-time data processing, or trading platforms is desirable but not essential
- Strong experience in automated testing for back-end systems
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, engineering-driven environment
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automated test suites for back-end services, APIs, and data pipelines
- Identify and report defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues quickly
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery
- Support QA strategy and contribute to testing standards and best practices
- Collaborate with engineers to design testable architectures and identify early failure points
- Contribute to release management and system validation for production deployments
