Overview:
We are a leading digital consultancy known for delivering scalable software solutions across eCommerce, fintech, and media. We are hiring a Java Developer to join our growing Belfast-based engineering team. This is an opportunity to work on high-impact digital products within a collaborative, fast-moving environment. You will contribute to full-stack development across a mix of client projects and internal platforms, with a focus on writing clean, well-tested Java code as part of an Agile team.
- Solid commercial experience with Java (Spring Boot preferred)
- Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
- Agile delivery experience
- Strong problem-solving skills and team collaboration
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and enhance backend services using Java and related technologies
- Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product leads to deliver full-stack features
- Integrate with third-party APIs and services
- Participate in code reviews, stand-ups, and sprint planning
- Write unit and integration tests, ensuring code is robust and production-ready
- Contribute to architectural discussions and tech decision-making
