Requirements
Must:
We require you to have at least 3 years of experience in Java development with full-stack capabilities. You should also possess experience with databases (both SQL and NoSQL) and RESTful APIs. A strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and security best practices is essential. Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as Infrastructure as Code solutions such as Terraform or CloudFormation, would be a plus. Additionally, having experience with event-driven architectures (like Kafka or similar) is beneficial.
Responsibilities
In this role, I expect you to develop and implement full-stack applications using Java, REST, and modern frameworks. You will design scalable, cloud-native solutions using platforms such as AWS or GCP. You will establish CI/CD pipelines and best practices for deployment automation, utilize test-driven development (TDD) and pair programming to ensure high-quality, maintainable code, and participate in system design, retrospectives, and iteration planning. Additionally, you will own and manage applications in production, ensuring their performance and reliability.

I am offering a competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £55,000, along with the benefit of hybrid working, requiring just one day in the office each week.
